Default Sunken “Blue Devil” Prototype Headed to Detroit for Restoration

Whew, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

With all the talk about how much tourism that sinkhole has been drawing to the National Corvette Museum, I was starting to wonder if any of the “Magnificent Eight” would be restored.

When I was at the NCM a few weeks ago I made a comment that they should put the two beyond repair vettes back in the whole to complete the circle of looking at the hole. 3 of the different personnel said they plan to do just that eventually. So they will not be restoring all 8. And if you have seen images, or in person, that Matt Hammer corvette, you would be basically just custom building a replica because I don't think one pice on that car is salvageable.
