Default Ferrari steals ZR1 hood window

The F12 TRS has a hood window that looks like it was just unbolted it from a C6 ZR1. Nice to see a new Ferrari taking styling cues from a previous-gen Chevy

Especially on a $4.2 million car, chrome wheels and all.

It sure does!

BTW, those headlights look very similar to another sports car as well. Just can't quite place it.

I guess Ferrari engineers and marketers didn't get the memo that a functionless window over the engine is so yesterday's fashion.

Pretty neat however Ferrari has been putting windows/glass bonnets over their engines since the early years of the 360 Spider/Modena (Circa 1999)

I'm going with the OP'er on the ZR1 dupe, almost has the same shape........

But then again, how about those rear Carbon Enzo brakes

I believe they are direct from the Brembo Enzo parts bin.

Yup - and they've been copying the magnetic suspension (under license) for some time now as well! GM does take the lead on some things!

Between suspension and brakes, plus a styling cue here and there, Ferrari and GM share more than the Euro fanboys would like to admit

You mean on thew ZR1? Yeah, those are pretty impressive.:toe tap: In fact the ZR1 REAR brakes are the Enzo FRONT brakes, hahahaha
Actully there ZR1 fronts are from the Ferrari FXX, basically the non-street legal version of the ENZO

Unfortunately when you put the cars in wind tunnel and work at reducing the drag, they all start looking Very Similar!
