Default FAST 102mm Throttle Body

I have a NW 102mm tb but it is closing I read about this issue in several threads. What about the FAST 102 TB? Does it also has the closing problems?

How do you have the TB mounted? Motor on the passenger side or drivers side?

Haven't seen any problems with the NW 102 as long as you have the motor on the drivers side. Mounting the TB with the motor on the drivers side, the blade will tilt forward like the factory blade does.

I have a ported LS7 throttle body that was closing when we were tuning the car. My tuner was able to adjust some type of pressure value that stopped it from closing.

YMMV.

It's a tune adjustment

I don't remember...tuner said something about adjusting the kPa value, though.

He saw the throttle shutting and knew immediately what to do. I was impressed.

It's the table that allows for percentage difference between open and degrees of open or something along those lines. ZBADESTZ should know

Ive installed ported LS3 throttle bodies on the LSA engine ( had to flip it 90 degrees, but don't recall doing it to an LS9.

Ive used the ported 87mm on the LS9 and LSA without issues.

Has anyone installed the ported LS3 on the LS9 ?

I know it's been done but the snout needs to be ported to match (87 to 90) which is why I haven't done it. Pretty sure it has to be mounted upside down due to clearance issues.

Id does have to go upside down like the LSA mount. Ill get around to mounting it up the next couple months.
