definetly worth it. when u do go bigger i would snag a tpis. i went through 3 non working nick williams and had to return them until i got a tpis that one worked first time

Thanks for the heads up. I remember seeing in your thread you had problems with one and couldn't remember what one it was. I will either do the TPIS or just step it up to the next level and get the Southways.

I have a nw and thought I had a problem but was actually bypass and tuning related. It was a pain but worth it.

Well it's not 100% done but I did get to enjoy it down in mexico a little bit! We had some problems getting parts in time and ended up running the stock HX with the brick mod. So it did heat soak pretty quickly but it was still incredibly fast. We got it running thursday night and got the fuel tuning done. It is tuned a little rich for safety. Then Friday night I went to help get some drivability tuning done and get it set up the way I like it. We finished tuning at 3am then loaded the car up and went to bed at 5am, woke up at 6:30am and drove to Mexico. We hung out at the dyno day and got peer pressured into throwing it on. Well I believe the dyno was broken as it read way off on two pulls. First was around 652hp@5600 and 670ft-lbs@3600. And it dropped 200hp from 5600-7000! Then we changed the tune thinking that was the problem and it had the same curve. Also it was a mustang dyno. Yet driving the car it feels like the power doesn't drop off until about 6800. Also we are getting some belt slip with the stock belt as expected. The pull starts at 17-18psi and drops to about 14psi. And we are on 91 octane pump gas. Anyways here are the videos that are of course in Mexico. Let me know if you have any questions!

belt slip combined with to small of intake tb and filter is my guess on the psi. Im running a micro v napa belt (stock part number, oem length) with 1 stock idler and one 73 and am having no slip what so ever now with the 14% lower and 2.35 upper.

something to think about when you get back in to do the heat ex. also add a ice cell or atleast get the coolant system to 4 gallons

Yeah still kind of throwing around the idea of the 108 TB and a custom 5in intake and some porting on the blower and more on the snout. We already have a HD green belt ordered. Also do you think the Straight line expansion tank and the Magnuson HX won't be enough?

i think the 108 might be overkill. on the lpe intake and filter i think im over 800 on blower right now. i have a 4.5" and larger haltech filter to throw on and see how the results are.

i was at the strip this weekend with the straightline and magnuson and was hitting upper 160 iats by the end of the run. not terrible but id like to see lower. im plumbing in an icebox this week will have results soon on how that does. 4 gallon cell that im going to run inline with the magnuson and straightline tank

Well then I will let you be the guinea pig! Just looking at the TB I can see how big of a restriction it is. I will probably just go with the 102 as I don't know if the extra 6mm is really worth it.

Excited to see the results. That is quite a bit of power, I would think you are over 800 as the Z06 I raced trapped 144 and he should be around 800whp. I think my car would probably trap 140ish as it is. Gets too hot and I am kind of limited by not having E85 in my area.

Flex fuel ftw. I don't have many stTions up here either. Got a few cans I keep filled up in the garage just in case

Very interested in this build thanks for sharing. As stated previously Im interested in any problems or not (hopefully) you have running the modified bricks with that level of boost. Keep posting. Thanks.

I have had no problems with the bricks themselves. And I have not had the dashlogic setup so idk what the IATs are but while tuning they hit 150+ pretty easily. Wouldn't be surprised if they have gotten up near 200. Also here is the dyno sheet. Definitely pulls nothing like that.

Once you get the Magnuson HEX, would you mind post pics? I just bought one which is from a Z06 kit and trying get most infos before doing the install. Why you had delays with it exactly? Im not trying to be a DIC here, but your power level seems low for your mods? I mean that is where i am with far less mods. But my tune is on 94 which is much better than 93 and we saw a constant 12.5 to 14 psi while dynoing! If i were you i would do NW102 it will pay off with your mods!

Straight line didn't have any in stock and didnt get any in time. And I'll try to get some pictures for you. Also yesterday I got to do some testing with the dash logic. On a 30-160 1st to the end of 4th pull on a 90 degree day after cruising for a while my iat2 hit 195! Also going to need another catch can. Thinking about finishing up the nitrous setup and doing a bigger tb and intake when the car is back in the shop for the rest of the cooling set up.

I had the brick mod and got the expansion tank from straight line so we got the hx there as well. Unfortunately we had some communication problems and just barely got the bricks in time to get the car ready.

Squirly are you still on stock TB?

If so a 102nw will wake it up a bit.

We are still on the stock TB. Think we will probably add a larger TB when the car is in the shop getting the rest of the cooling setup installed. Still haven't decided on what one but it will be at least a 102. Also might finish up the nitrous setup.
