Many years ago driving about 65 mph straight down interstate 4 in my 02 Z06 in a very light drizzle I must of hit a patch of water. The car suddenly aqua planed and I was doing 360's. Luckily there wasn't much traffic at the time. I wound up in the median facing backwards. It was a scary ride. Light cars, big tires. I try not to drive them in the rain but when it happens I am extra carefull and go slooowwwww.

when driving in the rain, I leave the traction control and active handling systems on. traction control prevents the rear wheels from spinning. active handling automatically brakes any wheel(s) as necessary to get the car pointed in the same direction as the steering wheel. so...if you put the car in "competition mode", (which disables traction control, but enables active handling), on a wet road, and, floor the fuel pedal, the car will go straight while the rear wheels spin like crazy.
