Guide specs before repair. Typical LS9 with bad intakes.

How many miles were on it before starting the mods?

Your Stage 4 package is essentially the Lingenfelter 750HP package which I have plus added LT's and catback but I'm at 670 hp and 673 tq at the wheels.

I think you guys must tune a little differently ( I don't mean that as a good or bad thing just a thought) because you are 50hp than Lingenfelter advertises.

Do you think bigger injectors or the 102 throttle body would help your/theirs package?

A 102 throttle body would probably help.

Bigger injectors won't do anything. As long as you're not running out of injector on what you have.

Thanks, I only asked about the injectors because I know you obviously know better than I what the stock ones limits are power wise.

I picked up the car yesterday. The car is now elevated to another level in terms of acceleration! I just cannot believe how perfectly stock it drives but when you smash the throttle it's ludicrous. Enough to make a Ferrari enzo feel slow. Yes, it's THAT fast.

I highly recommend the upgrade for those on the fence, you WON'T be disappointed. It's a night and day difference.

Jason, and a thanks to Katech for their extreme professionalism, honesty, and super high quality workmanship. I really enjoyed your shop tour and the one thing that stuck out at me is how passionate your co-workers were as well.

Jason, Weapons let me drive his car recently and I thought I'd compliment you and your team on the factory like experience it was to drive. The car performed great and had extreme low end torque.

Have you had this out on the street yet? Im interested in what its street mannors are like, traction, etc. and if you investigated how the package will effect stock clutch, transmission and rear end life. Thanks for any info you can provide. Trying to get an idea if its over the top or not for street use.

Plenty of us are over 700 rwhp with all that you listed still untouched.

I heard they are around 650 rwhp, a friend of mine is a week out to dynoing one, so we will know for sure.

Track..no idea. I'm sure someone on here has that experience.

Looks to me like you either do Stage 2 or Stage 4. Id hate to do a Stage 2 then experience the dropped valve syndrome and grenade the motor. Stage 4 (head work in particular) takes that risk out but comes at a cost. Not sure how overblown that is on the LS9 - Jason ????

We don't do as many LS9s as we do LS7s, but every single LS9 has had extremely worn valve guides (sometimes .0100"+) at amazingly low mileage (3000mi, 8000mi are a couple examples).

Do you do the head work 100% in house or send them to WCCH , etc? Thanks !
