I also loved the guy in the thread who said the zr1 has a lazy low end torque...what a DA lol. Then another guy saying his c7 gets more attention than his zr1 ever got, well #1 the car just came out and #2 your c7 is bright yellow which is ugly as crap lol. The c7 crowd is a special kind of stupid no question about that
First, congrats on your new car!!

Second, this is flat wrong. I literally have people doing cell phone videos of my ZR1 as I cruise both on the expressway and around town. I feel a little silly really at a stop light with some guy pointing a camera at me and recording.

Congrats on the ZR1. I made the same decision to cancel a C7 order and buy a ZR1, last October. Haven't regretted it.

I love the stripes! I have owned a lot of performance cars, including 3 other Corvettes. I've never had one with stripes. I'm thinking about adding some inferno orange stripes on my black ZR1.

Jasonn5, particularly good decision to cancel a base C7 after seeing the incredible cosmetic and performance enhancements in the C7 Z06. I will never sell my '10 ZR1 but I may be tempted to buy a second year Z06 and then there's the rumored mid engine C8. There must be a huge barb on the corvette hook as once hooked it's hard to get away.

Nice choice, and a great looking car. Like you and others, I, too, graduated from a Z.

Anyway I made the right decision for me at this moment. Haven't regretted it.
The car is just stunning. I wish I could post a pic but I can barely operate my Mac. It is Cyber Grey Metallic with 60th anniversary stripes put on by previous owner. Not sure what color the stripes are ( not a corvette color) but they sure compliment the grey.
It is so much faster than the Z. I didn't think it was possible but I was shocked. I am looking forward to many years with it. It has everything I could want in a car.
Glad to be here...Mike

You got the one from Fremont dodge? I drove that car last weekend, felt very tight. They had it at a good price too. Glad someone picked it up. I decided to hold out for a different color.

Guess I should learn to read posting dates. I retract my previous statement.

After just a few months you can't turn a corner without seeing a C7, but ZR1 sightings are still a really rare thing.

He only had it for a few weeks it looks like, because it was at a dealership fairly soon after
