Default Here's your intake valve guides! :)

This is an example of what my ZR1 has been through for the past 3 years and over 15k miles with zero mechanical issues besides blown cats.

Nice.

So far, these ZRs have proven pretty robust.

Have fun and be safe.

what people dont realise, is that most of the zr1 are beat to death and none of them as a dropped valve failure!!! I really dont get all that BS!!! The LS9 is stout and has been proved by many!

Attababy! Very nice work and appreciate you sharing. Yes, it did sound like the LS9 was going to **** the bed an any moment. After eating a few slower cars, a little indigestion is inevitable.

BS? People sharing personal experiences about finding prematurely worn guides in their LS9 is BS?

You're right. The ones who have found worn guides are lying, just to create drama...you got it. One guy posts a video of him beating on his ZR1, and it proves that they are all fine. What kind of logic is that?

same kinda logic used by the "other side" when one post a set of bad guides and they are now "all bad"

I'll have more vids hopefully later this week or weekend. I still spent the whole weekend FLOGGING the car at COTA in Austin. I was hitting 150-160mph on the back straight, 130-140mph on the front straight all weekend long beating on my brand new carbon ceramic rotors and pads and trying to cord my Continental slicks.

Car was fricking amazing. I'm not exaggerating that I passed over 100 cars this weekend and got passed ONCE by a highly modded C5 with a 427 ONLY because I saw a blue flag and got confused for a minute. I ended up running him back down and passing him before the end of the session.

This car is unbelievable on the track with a few minor mods. (I have finspeed wheels, Conti slicks, race seat, harnesses/harness bar, poly bushings, and camber kit with pretty aggressive cambered dialed in by Louis G.) That's it. The car just fricking eats up almost any other car on the track.

One guy in a really nice red Cayman R said he thought the Millenium Falcon was coming up on him on the back straight and I blew past him like he was standing still.
