Default Just Purchased - ZR1

Hey guys, not too much of a newbie to the site.. sold my Gallardo and came back to corvettes... this will be my 4th Vette but first ZR1

Purchased a 2011 White with only 2,000km... cant wait to pick it up (although it won't do anything but sit in the garage with all the snow here).

Only thing it has the grey rims, i do prefer the chrome. Might change that if i find a set.

Congrats on the ZR1!
Chrome rims are all over the place, lots of people remove the chrome including myself.

Congratulations. I ordered my 2011 AW ZR1 with CG wheels and H35 black headlight surrounds. You might rethink your feelings when you see the overall car with CG wheels.

Congrats and welcome to the club. I'd live with the Comp Grays for a while if I were you. They tend to grow on you and you might end up liking them. If not, you won't have any trouble finding some chromes on here.

Funny is i bought the car and haven't seen it in person, it's over in Alberta and I'm here in Ontario. So next is either looking at shipping it or if this darn weather would let up I wanted to fly there and drive it back ..

Looking forward to getting it home!

669 here. My 2011 ZR1 AW with dark titanium interior, CG wheels, H35 black headlamp surrounds may have been the only one like it with NCM delivery. The museum had never seen a car at that time just like mine. Only 806 total ZR1s built in MY2011 and our cars were clearly near the end of the production sequence according to the VINs.

congrats on your purchase! I saw this car for sale at the beginning of the summer, they were asking WAY too much for it. Something like 91 000$!!! im sure you score a nice deal! Either way, its a canadian ZR1 which is really rare! Some might dont care, but i do! I happen to have the only Black 09 canadian ZR1! Which i bought in Toronto! I guess canadians dude have to travel to get their desired ZR1! Enjoy you Z, but i wouldn't hold my breath to be able to drive the car back in Ontario, if the winter is nasty as is it here, it might take a while
I can't even take my car to the dyno, this winter is driving me crazy, im sure its itching you to drive it too!! The only other wheels i would on your Z is black cups, or a nice set of forged wheels! Some like those!

Thats great being the low number of Canadian ordered/purchased ZR1, was one of the reasons I picked this one...

Too bad the timing is so off, or this weather is lasting so long!! Looks like i'll have to get a shipper to pick it up. I appreciate all the advice !

I'll update you how that goes for anyone curious on my experience
