Default LPE 710 HP Package DIY?

Anyone install this yourself? LPE sells the parts and tuning kit:

http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...E#.Ur8ewel3tD8

Are there any special tools needed to install this, or can a DIY'er get it done in your own garage?

Thanks in advance!

It was very straightforward for me. Only 'special' tool, was possibly the 'fuel line disconnect'.

Other than that, just one nut & bolt at a time!

Enjoy!

Vette Magazine did a nice article about the LPE 710 Kit install that could help you out with more visuals.

Really easy to do, with the easy rear bolts acces from GKZR1. I took me litterally 1 hours to do. But DON'T DO HEADERS PITA!!!!

It's the easiest way to get to the rear bolts on the blower, without the GKZR1 method you have to lower the engine to get to the rear bolts.

Yeah but it'll be a year or so before all the operations become one. Hopefully this merger will work out better than our acquisition of US Airways, but then that's another story.

Beautiful 65!!

its not that bad! Lingenfelter's installation instructions on their website are actually very good as well.
