That first Vette on the list (five built-the original Grand Sport)...one went across the auction block two or three years ago, it did NOT sell. If memory serves, bidding stopped at 3 million. I don't remember if it was Mecum or another....could have been Amelia Island.

I think it went to Barrett-Jackson several months later.....but I don't know if it sold or not. I think reserve was 4.5 million.

Wow! Those prices are just incredible, the person in possession of that car is a very lucky one.
