The low pressure area in front of the windshield will pull air from the rear and the front vents will push cool air in through the front.

Um. The area in front of the windshield is a high pressure area, not a low pressure. Any place the lines of a car change dramatically (say: hood -> windshield) will create a higher pressure area.

Upon examining this product further (just via the posted pics), I suspect that another interesting side effect is going to be produced: sound. Once the air starts slipping through the front vents and out the small rear vent, I'm betting there's going to be a whistling noise of some unknown-at-this-time pitch caused by that.

I can appreciate what you're attempting to do with this product, but I'm not sure it's going to accomplish what you'd hoped. There are other window replacement vents out there that do help, and a couple of us are already using them. You might want to take a look at those to gain some inspiration.

Whatcop? and I are using this panel on our ZR1s. It's made by ACS. It's purely an extractor and doesn't attempt to also inhale air.

If you made a carbon fiber vented hood vent with a design similar to the ACS composite piece I'd buy it in a heart beat.
