Default Keep loud pipe closed?

Heading to Laguna Seca soon. I've heard Z06's are marginal for passing the 92 dB restriction there. I know getting the valve to stay open is easy. Is there a way to override the actuator system to keep the butterfly always closed?

Thanks.

Yes there is a way. Do a search using Laguna Seca and exhaust. The exhaust controller can be unplugged and a jumper wire used. I used this method at Laguna Seca and it worked well.

An alternative is to safety wire the flaps closed by looping the wire around the actuator arm, starting the car so the flappers close and then tieing it off in the closed position. I did this, but tried to use tie-wraps. Not surprisingly the tie-wraps melted after 2-4 sessions.
