Vibration noise in my 07 Z06
Help...Getting frustrated...I had my exhaust worked on and since it was put back together around 4,000 rpm in every gear I get a noise of something vibrating
Have had the exhaust checked three times and does not seem to be rubbing, sounds like it is coming from passenger floor boards. anyone removed the alum panels under car? is there anything under there that could be vibrating? looking for any help anyone can give. I know the psgr side mufflers was hard to wriggle out and there was some pressure put on the alum cover??

One of the C6Zs I test drove (completely stock) had a rattle at very low speeds in 1st/2nd gear only. I have seen it described on the forums as "marbles in a can" type of sound. I recall it most likely being something in the tunnel or maybe tunnel fastening bolts.
Not sure if yours has anything to do with what I've described but its worth a shot.

Vibration
I know the sound you are talking about with the marbles my 06 did that this is more of a vibration, I will have to explore a bit more
there is not much clearance for the pipes under there and definitely has to do with the torque I know they where moving the pipes around
taking them out and installing the new ones.

Make sure it is to do with the exhaust and not the gear lever rattle which runs in time with the engine beat. I expect you are familiar with this vibrating rattle but one never knows.
To check gear lever hold pressure against gear lever when you hear the vibration.

Yes I changed shifters so I don't think it is that
it seems to have appeared since I had the new mufflers put on and it seems to be in the area of the floor pan on passengers side. I will go over the exhaust again I know there is not much clearance where the pipes join up front, I can't stand noises my 06 had noises my 09 was good should have kept it. Thanks for the info

I don't know if this is your problem but it's a possibility:

Abel fixed this on my car by injecting adhesive foam in between the floor panels (the same stuff used to glue the flying roof panels down.) Drove me nuts for a long time!
