Default Did the Carrabelle 1/2 mile event

I'll warn you ahead of time that I didn't bother to edit the videos so it all raw video.

Most of my runs had a passenger and windows were down on every run. Also no burnouts and I was on hoosier R6s. Weather was good but their was a slight head/cross wind.

I ended up winning the event for fastest car and fastest forced induction with a run of 169.86. Car has a lot more in it if I ran windows up and not a full tank of gas lol. I think it could do a 175 with a burnout and all the other fixes.

I didn't record the first run because it was a shakedown run for me. I haven't driven the car in roughly 6 weeks so I ran it without spray. It ran a 155mph which impressed me for being on a nitrous tune and probably only making 590-600whp. On spray the car made 750/750.

Following run I ran a stock GT500 and sprayed. The car was insanely fast yet somehow even after having to go into 5th gear for awhile it turned a 149mph. I think something odd happened there with the recording data but its all good.

Second run was against a Fiero that had a Bonneville supercharged motor in it and coilovers from what I could see. I did a 161mph run

Third run was against my buddies Grand Sport. He makes 804rwhp. I ran a 164mph

Fourth run was against the Grand Sport again and I ran a 167mph

5th run against the Grandsport again I ran 169mph. Battery died on the car due to leaving the fans and bottle heater on. Had to push start it lol

6th run hit 169 again

7th run ran a 169.86

Awesome runs. You could be very close to 200 in a standing mile.

I think so too seeing as how Danny's ZR1 just did 207mph with basically the same hp. The no burnout was killing me and so was the windows being down.

I agree.

Pretty stout at the half, and I think you'd be in the 200 range at the mile.

Fun stuff.

Why didn't you roll the windows up to get the 170mph slip? Pretty simple thing to do at any point ya know.

Somehow I was just having a brain fart and didn't even think about it.

Hey Peter - very nice!!!

Are gonna run the Hooked on Driving event at Daytona in December?

I do 175-180 down the front straight in my stock Z06, so you should easily get 185-190!!

We can run that event with the windows up, so crank up the radio and cruise around the track in comfort and style!!

Hope to c'ya at the track!!

Bob

Yep he made 177 at the 1/2 mile I believe, so you got more potential....

Was something wrong with the grandsport? Seems like it should have been a little closer
