Default Redline Motorsports ZR1 9 second build

I'm glad to see many of our loyal customers from the Northeast have followed us to our new home in Pompano Beach FLA. We just received forum member "gonabite"s 2010 ZR1 over the weekend to begin another phase of transformation. His goals where to have a consistent 9 second ZR ride and we have just the program.

The build will consist of both power and chassis improvements all of which will be matched for goals at hand.

We are not a shop that likes to sit on projects so we are on it.

Will keep adding to this thread as interesting stuff arises!

Howard

That is crazy. Looks like one of the steps at the factory how the frame comes in from up top. Very cool. No disk covers?

Much easier to work on the drive train like this plus the body is up out of the way from getting damaged.

I'm going to guess built motor, heads, cam, overdriven stock blower, upgraded HX, HX pump, E85, injectors, tune, wheels and DRs and a clutch upgrade.

Looks like we are going to clean up the blower a bit to help this engine move some more airflow. Anything that will increase lbs/min of air flow is going to increase power output.

Interesting to see the coating is wearing off the blower. I wonder if the meth or the heat or was it just wearing down anyways.

We have a well know facility here that specializes in quality porting. Its about a 35 hour job and makes no sense to tie up my key installers...plus they do a real nice job.

The last I heard was the the bumpstick was in it, heads and blower should be back today from being worked over. Some custom fabrication is going on right now that is really cool!! And one of the final pieces is still being geared up.
