"Wheel Vibration Issue"...How many ZR1s are affected?
We've all heard that there's been several complaints from ZR1 owners about an irritating vibration radiating through their steering wheels and seats from a speed range between 65-85 mph.
Today I had lots of time on my hands so I set out to the Sawgrass Expressway to test my car. I was holding my breath before I set out to test the performance, or lack thereof of the rotating mass causing the problem.
Well, I'm happy to say that I have absolutely no vibration whatsoever from incrementally testing from 65-90 mph. The test was done on pretty smooth, but not perfect road surface, mostly straight with some long easy sweeping turns. We're fortunate in South Florida to have relatively smooth roads. I made it a point to test in both tour and sport mode. I did not use comp mode at all for the test.
I decided it might be a good idea to poll everyone that may possibly be affected to try and quantify the severity of the problem with the small sampling that the Corvette Forum represents.
The intent of this poll is to see how many forum members have the vibration issue (or not), with out of the box, as delivered, factory stock ZR1s.
I've allowed multiple choice for those who own/have owned more than one ZR1.
Some additional facts to consider are the C6 ZR1 manufacture quantity's:
2009 - 1,415
2010 - 1,577
2011 - --806
2012 - --???
2013 - ----0
I'll update manufacture #'s as they come available...
I'll also bump the thread as necessary to keep it active.

I happened to recently notice a forum member Ktzon looking to buy a ZR1.
Then I noticed he's voted on the poll for '10 bad vibration. Upon quickly checking his history, it doesn't appear that he's ever owned a ZR1...
I was going to PM him but he accepts no PMs...hmmmmm.
Maybe he'll respond to this thread.

Dang, I missed the multiple choice part of your poll.
My 2009 and 2010 were smooth as silk. Even my wife commented about how nice they drove. Not so with this 2012. Looks like I'm your only vote so far for bad vibration on a 2012. That's a good sign overall I guess but just my good luck.

Do we vote how the car started out or how it is now? I need to drive mine more this week to see how it's doing When it was picked up it was much worse than it is now since they worked on it.

What about a rim being the issue. My buddies Chinese repro c6 rims had enough run out that it would vibrate no matter who balanced them...did anyone check for that? Just a thought.
