Check out the 2012 engine build thread. That is exactly what he ordered. There are a few pics. It is a great look.
Haha, thanks. I actually saw the thread and that inspired this post. I liked the look, but the pictures weren't detailed enough to draw a conclusion. The car was more 'in the background' than the focus of the shot.
I was hoping to see more pictures to see how well it goes with the ZR1's other darker bits (roof, halo, etc).

LOL I don't have any hi-res pics yet cause they don't let you take camera's in the plant. But the black headlights look sick in person for sure. I wanted black mirrors like on the carbon Z06s but it wasn't an option

Hahah, I understand your thread was more focused on the build experience and your time there than about the headlights of the car . But I appreciate the pics you did have up.
I agree, the black headlights look amazing. I'm hoping to see more pictures on ZR1s to see whether or not that is something I want to do to my own car. I'm not sure when you get your ZR1, but if you have any opportunities to get pictures of it, I'd love to see more! Its a beauty!
I want those !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:t humbs:
Not an option in 2010 Does anyone know if they can be upgraded? I thought I read this some place
Yes, you can replace the buckets. I think its pretty easy to do. I ordered mine with the black and i love the look. I get the most comments about them.

I think you can buy covers for the mirrors from a few vendors.

Thanks Kevin, I bet they look hot on that yellow GS!
I have done some searches, if anyone knows where to get these and how hard they are to do please LMK
I dont know if its the right thing but if it is, GMpartshouse has them for 900 a piece i think it was. Maybe look for a scrap yard that has a lot of Corvettes?
Ummmmm..NO it is a pita, took me several hours and they are a pain to re align. You have to remove the fascia and just about both fenders. I doubt I would do it again, well at least til I get a new ZR
If memory serves I want to say they were around $2000 or so (but then I do suffer from CRS!)

Thanks for the pics and the info! The cost of the option on the New ZR1s is a deal I would have DEF ordered them if it had been avail in 2010. If I could find a place I trust to do them, but once they start pulling your car apart
