Gt-r out 2011 zr1 in !!
First, I want to say that the past 2 1/2 yrs with the GT-R have been really fun. It is a great car, very fast, quick dual clutch transmission,
excellent handling on the track. Things I will not miss: Brick like ride (especialy with our famous OK. potholes). Jerky off the line transmission, lack of 6 speed manual option. I had a 09 Z06 for a short time and loved it.
I am VERY excited to be getting back to a rear wheel drive, "Proper" 6 speed manual, American made beast of a car.
I have ordered:
3ZR
White with ebony interior and the new blue stitching.
Cyber grey headlamps.
Comp grey wheels
I am doing the museum delivery option and have a pick up date of April 26th.
Taking my 83 yr. old Dad, who is a car nut like me.
flying into Nashville and getting the Enterprise one way rental car.
I will have about an 11 hr drive home, but this is one drive I am so
looking forward to!

Congrats. Welcome back to vette fold.
Thought they had those paddle shift manuals figured out. Is that not the case? Can you elaborate on the trans in the GTR a bit more?

Thats probably the BEST day you could pick your car up! On the 27-30th they are having their annual C5/C6 Bash. If you can, you should stay the extra days! I'll be getting there the night of the 27th.

I did Museum delivery of my 09 Coupe on Aug 27, 2008, the day before their annual Anniversary Bash at the NCM.
Nothing beats doing one of their driving tours (I did the one to the Makers Mark distilery) as break-in of your brand new Vette
