IIRC, Zeekmann posted in another thread that his car is IO. IO, IMO, is the new "king of the color orange" supplanting Ford Grabber Orange from the late 60's and early 70's. And, it just seems to pop on a ZR1.

wasn't aware of this and plan on lowering mine all the way down on the stock bolts. is this alignment DIY or dealer would know how to adjust?

anyone confirm or deny if this is mandatory?

Lowered on factory bolts. I had mine aligned afterwards and the only adjustment was made to the right rear, other than that it was still spot on and the tech told me it was a very small adjustment!!

ALL lowered ZR1s in this thread look fantastic!

@nightflyer - Are the parts that the arrow is pointing to from APSIS? Do you have a part #?

those are not from Apsis, those are the factory parts. I ordered a roll of CF and put that on there myself. I took the piece off of the car, cleaned it very good then put the CF on there allowing it to extend beyond the edge. I then took a very sharp razor knife and trimmed it. After that I put a couple of coats of clear over the top and it has been on there a couple of years now!! Very easy to do and I have a lot of people asking where I got it. I also did the same to the pieces in front of the rear tires!

Wow, the result is fantastic!!!

One more question, if I may ask: what brand is that roll of CF?

it's 3M. I bought it from MetroStyling.com. You can by it by the roll there as much or as little as you want. Works good and has lasted a long time. I get a lot of questions about it from people that see the car in person.

It appears to be metrorestyling, and I found it: http://www.metrorestyling.com/Carbon...-Wrap-s/25.htm.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

yea, the stuff works pretty good and is pretty easy to work with, just make sure every thing is good and clean before applying and if you can find some of that 3M adhesive promoter...little yellow foam pads...it will really help...good luck and pics after you finish!!

lowered on stock bolts aswell, thought about going with the longer bolts and dropping it a bit more but the front is as low as it can be with out scrapping on speed bumps atm (stock bolts maxed front and rear)
