Default Vector Motorsports ZR1 packages

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0DCYBedvhE

Vector Motorsports, the leader in late model GM performance is happy to announce our new ZR1 Corvette packages, which completes our lineup of calibrations for C5 and C6 Corvettes.

After months of testing we are ready to release our ZR1 Calibrations.
Better throttle response, fuel mileage & lower engine temperatures are just a few of the benefits, along with increased horse power and torque across the entire RPM range.
“Peak” power numbers are only part of story, but it’s the average power “under the curve” where the power gains are felt the most.
Our power gains are dyno proven and our ZR1 calibrations have been refined to optimize boost levels for the factory pulley configuration.

Calibrations are available using our PowerCal system for remote tuning, or in house tunes are done by appointment. Our PowerCal system allows you to store and return your vehicle to its stock calibration at any time.

When you first receive the PowerCal cable and software, you will read your stock files and email them to us. We will then send you back our VMS ZR1 tune calibrated to your EXACT combination.

Also available is our Cam/boost package. This package consists of our VMS custom grind camshaft, ported supercharger inlet, PSI valve springs, overdrive pulleys for increased boost, and our custom VMS calibration.
While testing these packages in house on our Mustang Dyno, we are proud to report gains of 120 rear wheel horsepower and 117 ft. lbs of torque
Check out the numbers!

Gains RWTQ RWHP
@3500 117 77
@4000 114 85
@4500 117 99
@5000 118 110
@5500 105 109
@6000 101 115
@6500 96 120

Additional performance packages are available. Please call and we will custom tailor a package to your exact requirements.

Hi Steve I just want to tell you how happy I am with what you did with mine. It's hard to believe how much more responsive it is and pulls a ton harder. I'll be back before the spring.

How much is the remote tune option with the PowerCal system? How aggressive is your tune, AFR ratios..etc?

We tune them to 11.3 to 11.4 for remote tuning, and our gains of 45-50 rwhp are based off of that AFR.

699.99 will get our complete ZR1 PowerCal system.

With our system you can return it back to stock if needed, as well all of our tunes are steath tunes that are undectable by the GM dealers.

Do you back this with a warranty so that if I take my car in AFTER I use your tune and they detect it and void my warranty---do you cover this? and if so, HOW? I am VERY interested in this so please reply.
Also, I know that with a supercharged or turbo factory car the makers leave a lot of HP on the floor, So I do believe your gains. What I need reassurance about is the first question AND have you done enough testing to assure us that nothing else is affected like the fuel gage or the radio, which has happened to me in other cars.
Also, how much saftey factor is in your tune so that we are not blowing things up.

We've never had an issue with dealers or warranty's, with that being said we recomened putting the car back to stock before service but just in case thats not an option our calibrations appear factory to any GM service tool.

We don't offer a warranty.
Sometimes you have to pay to play, we just try our very best to cover our customers who may have a failure. We've tested all of our calibrations on numerous cars, we aren't the people who rush to the market with a product that doesnt deliver. Our ZR1 calibrations are tuned with a safe margin being there tuned to an 11.4 afr.

Johnny!
Well you say GM cannot detect it and then give me the above reply. So therefore I am NOT going to bite on this. Also you did not answer about engine protection with you tune. Again, I do not doubt your numbers, but when you get into complicated computer tune stuff, as a vendor you step up to the plate or not. If I want to risk my warranty, I think I would rather do it over something more substantial than a tune
