Sounds like your answer is a "no" so far....
Most folks do not go to the trouble to dyno before and after....
I know on a Z06, Halltech got like a 12-15 hp bump......
I have not seen numbers on a ZR1 but think the bump up would be the similar.

What are the weight differences between stock and the cat back, and slip on? I don't understand why the ZR1 doesn't have the titanium exhaust. I owned a 2002 Z06 for over 5 years and it was flawless and saved weight. As much as they were trying to (and needed to) lose weight with the ZR1, that seemed like a no-brainer to me.
I like the stock exhaust sound just find and am skeptical of big gains (if any) to be found in an aftermarket catback system. But weight loss is weight loss and helps every performance aspect of the car!

Did an installation on a 2010 ZR1 yesterday.. Here are some pictures of the EVO system and a video. I will say the system sounds EXACTLY like the video the Akrapovic put on the internet...Very nice!!!
Full Catback System
Big beautiful tips....
Quality is all best I have ever seen...
Video is at the bottom of the page at the link below.. The top video is the Akrapovic Marketing video and the bottom is the one we did...Notice how the sound is the same...
Akrapovic Titanium Corvette Z06 and ZR1 Catback Exhaust
Enjoy,

I will probably find out in very short order that this is a dumb question but why is this system only "available" for the ZO6 and ZR1? Isn't a Corvette equipped with the NPP exhaust (the system this is replacing) the same whether it is base, GS, ZO6 or ZR1? So wouldn't this work on any C6?

Melting Slicks
Installed!
Hi Jim:
I finally got mine installed and it sounds great. Not to loud but a definite increase over stock. I added a Braille Battery at the same time so really cant tell how much seat HP it added but definite difference from where I was. It was very easy to install and everything fit perfect - no bending, rearranging, etc.
The APR Diffuser also looks great and holds the car to the road very well (dont ask me how I know).
I also installed the Curb Sensor but I need some adjusting. If it saves one splitter it is defintely worth every penny at $188.00 (it is a steal).
The drone is there but very mild and for only 250-400 PRM's or so; you really wouldnt notice if you didnt have an ear for it.
Thanks for the help fixing the other little problem.
Regards,
PG

Guys,
We have Akrapovic Exhaust systems in stock....
Akrapovic is a European company that has been around for years and made a name for themselves providing exhausts for high end sport bikes. They then brought that success to the high end sports car world (ie; BMW, Porsche, Nissan GTR, etc....) The exhaust systems they craft are literally a work of art. Made of the absolute best materials, when you open up an Akrapovic exhaust system it will make you feel like a kid at Christmas time getting the present that you always wanted. The welds are perfect, the tips beautiful, the finish will simply amaze you. You can smell the quality instantly.
They also make a Corvette Z06 and ZR1 Titanium Exhaust that is extremely light (not sure if everyone remembers the OEM C5 Z06 exhaust was made of Titanium for the weight savings) and sounds unbelievable. The Akrapovic Corvette Titanium Exhaust is also one of the only other exhaust system on the market that keeps factory Multi Mode exhaust system in place (so the flaps in two of the exhaust ports open and close at different RPM's), the Corvette Z06 Billy Boat Fusion System being the other.
The Akrapovic Catback system weighs only 39lbs (almost half what the OEM system weighs), and produces an additional 13-15 HP while lightening the load 30lbs. The Akrapovic systems sounds absolutely unbelievable without any drone.
Akrapovic only makes exhaust systems for the ZR1 and Z06 in a Catback and Axleback versions. They call the "EVO" their catback and the term "slip on" is used for the Axle back systems. They are available with Titanium tips and Carbon Fiber tips.
More info on each system and a video at the below links.
