What's the benefit of twin turboing a zr1? just the looks? I would think it would be cheaper to by a z06 and twin turbo it. or just tune the supercharger.

Can't speak for the owner, but I suspect more HP. A twin turbo setup on the ZR1 would only be limited by the strength of the stock internals. And then you can always upgrade those... The power curve is great on the stock Eaton TVS R2300, but max boost/PSI is limited. With turbos the sky is the limit if your wallet is fat enough.

Yes, because a steel hydraulic lift is one that'll just rot away before your very eyes.

Get real. :-)

If ever there was a time/place to use a remote in-line oil filter I'd think this was it. Even with that heat barrier in place I suspect that turbo could still cook the oil filter.

On the other side of the pan the oil line going to the oil tank looks like it almost touches the turbo housing and doesn't have any heat shield at all. One thing that's always scared me about turbos is the heat, there's something about having glowing hot metal right next to oil that make me cringe.

Cheers, Paul.

What size are the turbos and how much boost do you plan to run?

This is not stock, this is a 430ci stroked motor with low compresion.
