Default Dealer installed pedal cover set installation

Does anyone know what the dealer has to do when the optional pedal cover set is installed. I know the clutch and brake cover just snap over the pedal. But the accelerator I have been told has to be programmed by a computer. Is there anyway the performance could be changed or messed up if this is installed or does it either work or it doesn't type of program.

D- I'm not sure about the programiing but I have had the set installed on both of my vette's (Z06) and my ZR1 and have had no issues, nor noticed any differences...df

I have installed 4 sets. 2 in a ZR1 and 2 in a Z06. No reprogramming is necessary.

Point of advice make sure you have a heat gun or hairdryer to soften the clutch and brake pedal pads. Will make installing these take less than 2 minutes.

cheers!

i have those pedal covers on my pace car as well as the checkered door sills too.

http://community.webshots.com/user/dallcwby

gene cully at gmpartshouse had the best deals on gca parts like these.

labor was $47.10. 1/2 hour.

I too was worried about the gas pedal and possibly causing an accident etc.

you can order these when you order the vehicle and the dealer will install them too.

$220.77 with shipping is what we paid from gene.

please excuse the grass as they were bailing hay the day i took these.
