Default So I'm At.......

My local Chevy dealer parts department to get some idea what to sell my old OEM C5 Z06 parts for. I mention that I have a ZR1 on order when he says"you should see the red one we have sitting in the showroom".So I make my way over to the showroom thinking it's an victory red 09 model when to my amazement it's an 2010 model the exact same one I have on order. I was in awe the car is number 128. Quite a Pleasant surprise since this is the 1st time seeing the car in person and it Didn’t even show up on Jeff Hardy. They want 5 over. Here's a couple of pics:

Beautiful car!!! I don't think 5 over cuts it in todays market though. But who knows they may find someone.

At least you got see exactly what you're getting. Must make for more sleepless nights. I know it would for me !!!

Why don't you simply buy that one for the same deal you have ordered?

Your dealer should be willing...they make a Sale in Nov...

Or is something a bit different? Interior? Wheels?

I was talking to a friend of mine about a ZR1 the other day and some moron interrupted me to tell me that his dealer (he was a salesman or something) has a black 2010 and they want 30k over. Idiot.

Nice car though, I think you should try to get them to match the deal you got on that car.

Believe me buying this one is real tempting but I'm doing museum delivery. This will be my 7th Corvette and I have always wanted to do this and the ZR1 is the car for this special occasion. I'm also buying the museum photo book with pictures of my car being assembled at the plant. Can't wait I love this color!

This sounds like the perfect way to purchase a new ZR1.

The R8C is very special, and I'm sure you'll find it's worth it.
BTW, my last 3 Vettes were Museum delivery.

I've had two forum dealers offer me 2010's for $3500 off sticker. Will be $5-7k off as we get some snow on the ground.
