i don't know about the z06 to zr1 guys...however very very low mile zr1s are starting to show up for sale quite a bit now....blows me away that someone would pay mega$$$$ for a car only to sell it at a loss with hardly any miles on it...i would think those people are having regrets
Dean, I traded my 09 Z06/3LZ about 12 dys ago, and I have to tell you I couldn't be any happier that I did. The ZR1 is just stronger in every aspect of the car. From the sound at start up to the sound when giving the pedal a good push and opening up the pipes, to the overall smothness of the car and great bralking it's really fun to drive. I had really enjoyed the Z06, but kept looking at ZR1's almost from the day I got it, I hope that answers your question, feel free to pm me if you have anything specific I can help you out with...df
Had an 07 Z06 that I sold just prior to getting my ZR1. Absolutley no regrets except that I missed my Z06, so I went out and bought another one.
They are 2 different animals..... I love them both!
cheers!

I traded my 06 Z06 and 07 coupe on a 10 ZR1 one month ago and thus far I have no regrets. I loved to drive both Z06 and coupe but I love driving the ZR1 more.
Best decision I have made in a long time. Replaced a Ron Fellows Z with a 09 ZR1 . Over 9000 miles and absolutely no regrets or reservations. When Corvette said they were building a gran touring car, they hit the nail on the head. Great car, fun to drive, more than capable of putting a major smile on your face.

I can't imagine anyone having regrets for trading UP, unless of course they really couldn't afford it to begin with. The ZR1 should be a marked improvement over the ZO6 or there is something wrong.
two different C5 Z06, to a 2006 Z06, sold it for a Ron Fellows 07 Z06, sold it for an 08 Wil Cooksey Z06.
No regrets, no problems with any of them.
Each year gets better.
Sidebar: Have had approximately 40 cars/trucks (mostly new) thru the years, 4X4, luxury, economy, family sedan, etc. The current ZR1 (goes without saying) is by far best of everything.

Zippy,
Let me know when you want to sell the Wil Cooksey.....It reminds me of my 1992 383/ZF6 that ran 11.70 at 124 back in 2000, that was a fast car for what it was....Exact same paint scheme! Love it!
Hi Dean i traded a 09 zo6 cyber grey for a 09 zr1 cyber grey, it was the best idea i had they are so different. The zr1 is so much fun to drive great power and the car to have when playing on the road hope you get yours soon you will love it , Rick

Chad: My list of previous Vettes are some of what I had. Sold each one to move to the next. BTW, sold the Wil Cooksey same day I left home for this year's CF cruise in. What a coincidence, as I pulled into the NCM, Wil was standing nearby and asked why I didn't drive my WC car. Told him, "just sold it, to get a nerw ZR1." Wil smiled and said I'd really be happy, but be careful with it.
