Congrats Racerns! Thats an awesome time and I know first hand what it takes to run that time and its awesome driving! Great Job! Same to you John! Great Job! 10.8 on stock tires is awesome as is 10.7 on drag radials. I am glad to see some stout numbers run by a ZR1!
I am also pretty positive those are the fastest and quickest factory production runs ever for an american car!
Also Racerns I have to say that 1.70 short time on stock tires is amazing!

Do you know who assembled your engine at Wixom PBC? We're wondering who gets the bragging rights.

Outstanding!!!!! Very impressive.......
Geez my drag race car with 625HP and a 1.40 60' will only go 10.17@130.... and doesn't drive anything like my ZR1

The first time out it had around 2500 miles on it and for this event it was as 5600 miles. I am not sure that it is getting any faster though. We gained maybe 1mph in trap speed since the first time out but there are many other factors to consider that can affect that like weather, driving technique, cool down time, etc...

I don't remember exactly what the mileage was back in April, but I think it was aroung 2500. It had about 5700 on Monday. The higher mileage may have had a small positive affect, but I feel the major reason for the improvement is mainly driver experience with the car, and the better weather.
