10.5@137.5 is awesome considering the car was all over the track on 20's and road racing hoosiers with a guy that wieghs 340lbs.
i would rather be driving a 10.7@137 car than a 10.6@126 car.
from 60mph-160mph, 60fts dont mean sh!t. with a proper wheel/tire setup, 200 lb driver and more seat time in this car it can only get better. i'm just happy somebody is not only racing their zr1, but modding it and posting videos for me to enjoy(except the music)
This guy has his zr1 vette modded aswell . I spoke to him at bradenton and he ran a 11.1 at 134 on street tires. He has AR headers and cnc ported TB and tune. Boost is at stock levels
He is in florida too, maybe you guys should line them up together and get the guy who shoots this guys vids to video you guys, he has some pretty sweet vids.

yes your right i like the videos too, were not talking 60mph-160 or a roadrace were talking 1/4 mile, ranger will be at the track soon enough, we will see what the car can do stock

Well, I see this car almost every monday night! It runs ok now with the lastest mods... it struggled some with the pulley swap but right now, after the bolt-on's+cam, it runs just fine.
Is chancleta driving this car? The owner can actually bang gears so I don't know why he isn't driving it.
On a side note, this is the same ZR1 I raced way back when. We were dead even all three races. Owner is cool but I would of liked to see more out of this car with that kind of power. It has to be the weight difference and gearing that is possibly holding this car back when compared to a Z06. A stock z06 with a 100-150shot can produce these times on the same tire package.

Ok... so I am supposed to be blown away by these numbers... I have to say I am not. I was out at PBIR last night (same track the ZR1 ran at) and watched a stock Z06 on DR running 11 teens at 128. Then how about a stock motored Z06 with a blower run low 10s at 142. Then a head/cam Z06 runs low 10s at 135 with no power adder. Then a H/c Z with N20 runs a 9.64 at 145........
Sorry, but with all that work in a ZR1 I would expect a bigger mph.
mind you another thing on the street a race can go longer then 1/4 mile .. so 137 vs.126 is A BEAT DOWN.. have seen it many times.. MPH is KIng on the street .

what mods and whp do you have? I ask because I'm gonna race a ZR1 of a buddy of mine and I'm guessing I will win but who knows ( I have cammed 530 whp C6Z )
you just showed me you know nothing about street racing, you must be talking roll racing, thats what guys with chargers do, i race 1/4 from a dig, if you jump i wont chase, no chase know race, ive been doing this 37 years, ive seen 12 second cars beat 10 second cars if traction is a problem all the mph in the world doesnt make up et, if you run 11.00 at 137 and the guy runs 10.60 at 126, i guess you are talking about me, you would be the loser, you could go 150 if you only go 11.00 you lose, your whoping 1.9 60 ft was at the track and slower on the street, the twin turbos 1.6 was probably 2.3 on the street, i am bolt/on na look at the video i leave at idle rolling into the gas my 1.43 will be 1.43 on the street, my tape measure is in the car 1320 feet, you know nothing wantabe racer a charger wont enhance your poor driver skills, learn to put the power to the ground oh dont talk it walk it, put your name on some of these internet fast lists and then talk, get some proof, i got the top spot for my car and mods, you know it, and im telling it, sorry if that hurts your feelings, but facts are facts prove me wrong with facts not
