the track was cold so anything more than a bog would result in tire spin even with traction control on.

we are just waiting for a warmer day and a better 60 ft!

Did that burnout heat up the intercooler much?

Nice Video. 10's are no problem with that trap speed. I'm waiting for a stock ZR1 to run 10's.

didnt seem to hurt it too much. we did several back to back runs and only lost about 2-3 mph on the second run. we had 2 runs with worse et's but with trap speeds of 137.5 and 137.8 mph!

And how does that explain the ability to knit a set of mittens in the time between shifts? Should have been in the 10s easily, even with the bog.

I think this car got some 10.5-10.7s with better lunch and faster shifting, trap speed is already there.
Put some DR in that beast & let's see some 10s runs

Congrats 1badZr1 & hennessy...

My vette went 9's with that mph! I'm guessing there's more et in it.

Default Drag radials???

Given the largest DRs available are 18" I'd like to see how you'd get a 15" brake rotor inside that size wheel...probably ain't gunna happen.
Cheers, Paul.

Cheers, Paul.
The 18" will not fit over the rear rotors/calipers on a ZR1, but a 19" will. And Hoosier makes a nice sticky tire for the 19", however, it is still a stiff wall tire which is not good for drag racing.
