wow, for a factory tune, that HP line is horrible...
i love how there is a huge dip then power is going down by 5000 RPM...HAHAHA
vipers suck
grow up, stop hating cause with your mods you, the only Viper that would make a good race between it and your car is a 400hp Gen 1, and before you talk smack I am not far from you amd would gladly meet you at byron with my , Viper, corvette or mustang(which has a procharger otw) I'll teach you some humility, and how much Vipers "suck", My grandma lives in pekin IL so I know you can swing it, this is s friendly challenge at a dragstrip, I wont even spray the Viper, actually I take that back I will, I wanna be back in the stagging lanes as your still coming down for your pass. Put up or go away.
Ohh, the Viper guys gotta hold onto something, esp. if their peckers ain't workin'. Or is that a problem for Vette drivers?
Look, the Viper is a great car - and so is the Corvette. It's the people who bash one or the other who suck.
Good post , but I own one of each,Viper C6Z and foxbody mustang that will be a very quick 1/4 car come this spring , I agree with you on everything except, my pecker works more than fine I'm still a young man at 33(that is my current girl in my avitar)
he has no clue, Viper dyno numbers have always been about as flat as can be, he's just another guy with 320rwhp sick of getting waisted by 13 year old gts's
from our experience the dynojet chassis dyno numbers for the gen 4 viper and zr1 are both very close. however, the viper is normally aspirated whereas the ls9 is supercharged and intercooled. with the zr1 sitting still on the dyno it does not represent the airflow across the intercooler heat exchanger. so i think that the real power of the zr1 is not shown on a dyno like it is going down the road.
the zr1 feels more powerful and faster going down the road, at least to my butt dyno. it weighs a bit less. but i think the ls9 makes is best power when its rolling with good air flow.

just my 2 cents.
Finally someone with real dyno (and butt dyno) experience. I would love to have both cars in my stable, but then I'll be in divorce court, "but your honor have you looked at the dyno numbers"

What about the Vipers ram air? the stock system is a straight shot from the hood scope into the engine intake? Just curious.
