So Which of you ZR1 Guys is in Alaska?

Hi all,

I'm from Anchorage, and there is a local rumor making the rounds in our Corvette Club, that someone in Fairbanks has purchased, and already has in-state, a ZR1... Never thought I'd see the day when that car gets to Alaska. Just wondering... who it is! I have GOT to see this car during the summer! If you happen to be a member here, please get in touch if you're interested in showing that sweet beast off sometime!

Is the ACA still active? I was a member in that club for a while in the mid seventies. (Bought my '69 in Anchorage.)

Yup, still going strong! We have about 90 members I believe (although most are couples) and nearly 100 Corvettes among us. Interestingly, there are far more C6Z's than C5Z's, and we have every generation represented. We have at least one ZR-1 (I don't remember which year, however). I joined only last year, having bought my first vette last January. We went to lots of events and shows and had a blast every step of the way... even though it rained on about 60% of the events. But, that's life up here.
