It was pulled... I don't think it ever made it to Scottsdale. I never saw it on the field.

Is this what you mean by roller? It was there, I got just a glimpse of it as they were going to commercial. These pictures are from the Laguna Seca ALMS.

It was not a ZR1 "roller" chassis that was at Barrett Jackson. It was a concept car roller chassis. Attached you will find a picture of the roller and what it sold for plus the description.

There was a Corvette ZR1 Chassis that was supposed to run last night. It was Lot #82.1 and was on the Run List as of Saturday. I was watching for it too and when it didn't show up, I checked the website and saw that Lot #82.1 has been removed.

After searching the docket and not finding it, I emailed the media contact I have at Barrett-Jackson and she said the sale had been canceled and there was no other info about it.

Lot #95 is a Kappa Chassis (Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky). FYI, this platform was scheduled to move to the Bowling Green assembly plant in 2012.

GM Cancels Sale of 2008 Corvette ZR1 Chassis at Barrett-Jackson

The rolling 2008 Corvette ZR1 chassis that was scheduled to be sold at this year's Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction has been pulled from the docket and the auction cancelled according to a Barrett-Jackson media representative. The auction was lot # 82.1 and was scheduled to cross the block on Tuesday evening.

After the ZR1 Chassis failed to appear in its assigned slot, a review of the Barrett-Jackson website showed that it had been pulled from the 2009 run list completely. We emailed Barrett-Jackson and was told that the auction had been cancelled and no other information about the chassis is available.

The Corvette ZR1 Chassis is one of the 200 GM Heritage Collection vehicles that were scheduled to be sold at the famous collector car auction. Perhaps the car has been rescheduled to appear with other Heritage vehicles at Barrett-Jackson's Palm Beach collector car auction later this Spring. The only other possible outcomes is that GM sold or donated the car prior to auction or GM decided to keep it for the time being.
