Default I need an 09' ls9 crate, where?

I am looking for an LS9 crate engine with supercharger, i need to know the first place they may be available when released. GMPerformanceParts.com has not released it yet, but does have the part number in their inventory. My brother is putting an LS9 and trans in a 56 chevy pick up full restore on a vette chasi and suspension, and he does not want a built ls7 s/c'd, it is certian his search is for the 09' LS9. Any information on this you can email me at

kyle.curtis@comcast.net or reply to this thread, thanks!

That ought to be one hot looking P/U truck when it is finished! Please keep us informed if he goes this way, and we want pics.

Sounds cheap ... I paid that much for an LS2 for my retro Chevy pickup truck and it didn't even come with a free crate. It was installed in an SSR, however.
