Default POLL: ZR1 customers will you be interested in the Carbon Fender Side Air Vents?

Hi ZR1 customers,

Since your ZR1 come with lots of carbon from GM, we think it will be nice to change those 4 Side Air Vent to carbon. It will have the finished touch.

We plan to make those Side Air Vents in carbon. Please let us know if you are interested?

If you are still not familiar with us yet, please go to our web to check it out. We make tons of carbon stuffs for C6 already. Here is the direct link to our C6 carbon page ------

http://www.apsisusa.com/Lamination%2...0or%20Both.htm

Will you be more interested in the new replacement carbon parts similiar to GM's factory carbon parts using the pre-preg technology or the Lamination Carbon parts using core exchange?

If we go with the pre-preg replacement carbon parts, then we have to invest the expensive mold to duplicate the parts and eventually the finished carbon parts will cost more than lamination. But lamination will add little extra weight to your car. (not much since those air vents are quite small) So there are pro and con to each approach.

Please let us know your opinion so we can make the best decision for ZR1 community.

Most likely we will go with the real carbon replacement for ZR1 since this car is on the extremely high end side.

We just know today that now we can get the ZR1 Side Air Vent cores from GM. If you don't mind to add little weight, we can use them to laminate carbon for you immediately.

If you want the true carbon replacement parts, then you have to wait till we make our molds ready. It will be several months.

Pleas PM me with the price on the carbon for my 4 factory vents. I am putting the ZR1 fenders on my C6, and I already have the vents. Thanks

You should do rear brake ducts and make them come all the way to the outer edge to stop the ROCK chips.Everybody would buy those.
