Tires a ridiculous wing and no interior lol.. seriously just tires and it would be game over the Michelins on the zr1 while way superior to the Goodyears on the Z06 are still runflats and arent half as good as the MPSCs on the viper..

R.
Also, don't forget that every comparison test that has been published, a SRT engineer has shown up with the car to set up the suspension for the specific track. I don't discount the fact it comes with a fully adjustable suspension, BTW.

Too early to say. Still waiting for same day/same driver, 'one-on-one' comparo's. I don't put much stock in the 'Ring times. Even though the ACR was faster, the lap was far from perfect (only 3-4 laps were run). The ACR team suspected mid teen's with more time. There only goal was to break the record, which they did in one afternoon and three/four runs. It was not to set a ultimate time for the ACR. But time will tell what both cars are capable of...

See this...you guys still think the ZR1 has a chance with just a tire swap? or stock lol?

With stickey tires, it has way more then a chance. On a 2 min course, R compounds alone are worth 3-4 seconds per lap. On a 7 min track it would be more like 10-12 seconds, which would put it way ahead of the ACR.
The ZR1 was not created to equal/exceed the ACR 'for track (road course) use'.
The ACR was not created to equal/exceed the ZR1 'for street use'.
Both 'can' do the other, but not as well. No biggie. Both are amazing cars IMHO. But don't kid yourself thinking a simple change in either car can replicate the other's strength.
They're so cthe lose on the RIng it doesn't matter. And don't buy that BS about it not being the ACRs fastest time. No one goes through the hassle and publishes a time if it's not their best effort.

I don't put much stock in ring times either but where are you getting this information? They said they thought they could get less than 7:20 with a gear change, not with more time.
