Default GMS Price on ZR1 - $95,133.

I was doing my weekly check at the GM employee site to check the current incentives (rebates, etc.), and noticed that they have a new set-up.

This is the first time that I have been able to do a "Build Your Own" on a ZR1.

So I selected a 3ZR ($103,970.), cyber gray ($0.), chrome rims ($2,000.), Shipping ($850.), total MSRP = $106,820.

The GMS price = $95,133.

The other thing I noticed is that there was not a place in the options list to select the "full leather wrap" option, which I think is a $10,000. option.

I also checked the jeffhardy.com site to compare the prices, but the total MSRP prices have been left out. I did notice that the 3ZR package was $10,000. This does not make much sense to me, as I had thought that a "loaded" ZR1 was about $116 - 117K.

Anyway, I told them that I would take 10 at the GMS price!!!

The real question is ... can someone actually buy a new one for the GMS price of $95K?

It is dealer option to accept such pricing or not. The vast majority at this time will not.

No way. GMS requires dealer participation, and for now there is no way any dealer would agree. Next spring???

However, there was no way to select the gas guzzler tax in the "Build Your Own" process. I am not certain, but I assume that they automatically include the $1700. tax in the MSRP.
