I had seen a ZR1 at Wilson Niblett Corvette not to long ago. It had a for sale sign on it. I was wondering if anyone on the forum owns this vehicle? If so you got an amazing vehicle
A few months back, Humberview was advertising that they were getting one in soon. Out of curiosity, I called up and the dealer mentioned that there was a list of 20 people interested in the vehicle - they were basically looking for the highest bidder. Not sure what happened after that.
I was talking to a dealer I know at Holland Chev in Burlington. Apparently they sold one. The price that I heard it went for was in the $160,000 Canadian range.
$160,000 isn't too far off the MSRP of a loaded ZR1.
It's only about $13k over, much less than the mark ups seen in the US. However, even with the Cdn dollar dumping the MSRP is about $25K over the US MSRP. Rip off.
Not sure how many ZR1s have been sold in Southern Ontario - especially in the current financial climate. I know there are a bunch of unsold '08 Z06s that are going for like $30,000 off sticker price. If I had a little more certainty with regards to finances and employment, I would seriously be considering something brand new.
Yeah i talked to the guy at niblett and he said the vehicle went for msrp which seems pretty good since every play wants so much over. I cant wait to see one of these bad boys in the gta gonna be a great time

I bet you will see one of those in the summer at a Show & Shine.
Rumour has it (one of those stories where a guy who knows a guy, who knows a guy told me) that there was a new ZR1 at the dragstrip in Cayuga running on one of those "test and tune" nights just before they closed for the fall. Not sure how true that is, but it sure got me thinking!
