The fine print..... Let me make it a bit bigger so you can see it.

"Published price subject to change without notice to correct errors or omissions or in the event of inventory fluctuations"

It's still false advertising. Should be a way to stop stuff like that....

The $119,000 didn't quite fit into my budget, but the $110,000 will be perfect

I thought that MSRP was in the $105k range, fully loaded ??? Guess the dealership thinks their customers are fully loaded.

I still think this website should have a rating system similar to Ebay whereby people can rate dealers. Say you have a rating for actual transactions of sales, then a rating for just plain customer service, and truth in advertising rating and then an overall experience rating. This would really serve members well when trying to purchase, would reward good dealerships, and put on notice those that have sketchy practices. It could also demonstrate the power of this media.

Moderators, can we develop something like that? You could even allow the dealer a chance to explain themselves on negative feedback......

Take a look at:

http://www.chevrolet.com/byo/byoSele...ewVehicle=true

MSRP is $106,520 for a 1ZR

Gas Guzzler Tax is $1,700

Add $10,000 for the 3ZR trim

Plus $2,000 for chrome wheels

Delivery fee is $850 for my area

If you want AO it's +$300, VY and JSB are +$750

Museum delivery is an additional amount (something like $500)

So.....considering most all the ZR1 orders are for 3ZR trim levels, MSRP is in the $119K to $120K range.

I'm holding out for employee pricing!!!

Bob

It will never happen. This site is paid for and limited by the advertisers. It is not the free flow of information you believe it to be.

Anyway, yelp already does what you are asking for.
