AHHHH!!! Torture! The ultimate GM car sighting and I'm in the WRONG CAR! [PICS]
So here's the story. I'm at Best Buy today TV shopping in the Z06. See photo at Best Buy:
I decided to buy the TV so I went home and got my Montana van. So we go back to best buy. Then, on my way home I'm verry happy with my new 42" LCD flat screen TV purchase when I spot a yellow "Z06" in my mirror. As it gets closer I realize that I am in the WRONG CAR!! WHY OH WHY COULD THIS NOT HAVE COME SOONER!!!
This is what I saw:
Say what you want about living in Michigan, but GOD I LOVE LIVING 10 minutes from GM WORLD HEADQUARTERS.

I went out today to drop off my car at Vector and I saw the same exact car parked in a parking lot. I looked at it for like 10 mins, studying it, and just appreciating the car. Like you, I had just dropped off my car at Vector and was in the Mini. Weird, haha.
Whaaat the.... I'm in the wrong part of the country. Why is it that some people get lucky and see some cool cars before they hit the showrooms! The only thing I have near me is Willow Springs, Honda, and Hyundais test tracks wow. Nice pictures..funny how you keep a camera with you.
I notice the guys(last pic)in that Ford thing breaking their necks also.
I sometimes say the funniest moments in life are based on irony.
Well, this may be the ULTIMATE in Corvette Forum irony!!
Not to mention, pretty dam* funny, too!!!
Too bad you didn't have the Katech Ninja Stealth HD Video-Cam with DTS Surround and stereo mikes hooked up to the chase-vehicle!
Thanks for sharing. Hey, at least now you know you have a chance to get one of them new ZR-Thinga-MaBobbers invited on a private, closed road for some Katech Attack comparisons!!
PS- only a 42" TV? C'mon man, gotta go 50" or better!!!

I haven't bought a TV since I bought my house so this is a huge upgrade from what I had. I'm just a bachelor so sometimes you have to do things on the cheap. This TV was long overdue. Besides, the TV budget takes away from the Z06 budget and we can't do that too much!

Hmm, Mound and the M-59 service drive? I'm by there twice a day going to and from work. Normally all I spot up there are Skunkwerks/Katech cars. ;-)
I was ZR1 spotting this weekend too. I spotted one of the red ones out near the Proving Grounds, but all I had was my cell phone. I was actually on my way to Costco to buy a new camera, oh the irony!
It was a great weekend for car spotting. Saw a camo'ed Buick LaCrosse replacement (?) a new Roller, an Enzo!!! and more early 60's Chevy's than I could count.

PC
You probably see all the Katech cars in that area because I live 1 mile north of there.

Understood, man. Just razzin' ya some! The Z06 comes first! Thanks again for sharing.
I need to know. Is that the same yellow as the c6 or is it more like the c5 yellow. Personally, I hate the c6 yellow. It seems to weak; attractive, but weak.
