I've been told by a good friend in the Corvette group the guy driving is Jim Mero, the suspension development engineer. He works at the Proving Grounds and does 95% of all the development driving. Makes me feel good that GM makes sure there's a well qualified driver/engineer developing the Corvettes. Gotta have a ZR1!

Yeah, that is Virginia International Raceway. I have seen a few races there, actually sat in one of the S turns shown on the video. Believe me, the car is definately moving.

Was there a second person driving it after the first "intermission", because the first section was QUICK.

The second section - my grandma can hit apex's and pick up braking points better in her Vespa than that.
