Traction control activate when I reach 124 mph !!!
Hi everyone,
I have a problem that I hope one of you might be able to help solve.
My problem is if I drive with Traction System-On and Activ-Handling-On, when I'm going full throttle, Traction controls activates when I reach about 124 mph! Traction control doesn't activate if I reach 124 mph at a more moderate pace.
No problem when I’m going full throttle with competitive driving mode on.
I’ve tried to solve the problem with new hubs on all wheel and also got new tyre Michelin Pilot Super Sport front 285/30/19 rear 335/25/20 But that didn't solve the problem.
C6 Z06 2006
ProCharger P-1SC-1 Stage II Supercharger Systems
New wheel hubs on all wheel
New Michelin Pilot Super Sport front 285/30/19 rear 335/25/20
Anyone?

I never had that problem but did discover that cruise control on C6 Corvettes does not work properly above 157 MPH. At 158 MPH and above, activating CC will just have the speed keep climbing!. I discovered this when doing 162 and said to myself oh sht, oh sht as my breakout speed was 165.
I would just suggest using the Competition mode as it still has the nannies working, just allows more freedom and movement before they intervene.

The stock wheel sizes for a 2006 Z-06 is F:275/35/18 and R:325/30/19. It's possible the larger tires you have may have something to do with it. Has your tune been updated for the tire size change?

The 19/20" wheels and tires are the OEM option on later model Z06s and the tire circumference is very close to the 18/19" combo so that is not his issue.

Since your engine is supercharged, are you sure that the ECM is requesting traction control because with the increased horsepower your actually spinning the tires.
If you rule out actual wheelspin, then, with all due respect to "AzDave4," I'll suggest that it is the later Z06/Z07 wheel/tire package on a car originally equipped with the standard C6 Z06 wheel/tire combination, and not having an aftermarket calibration to correct the for the different wheel/tire combination you have on the car now, is causing the problem.
Put your original wheels and tires back on then go for a test drive. If the problem goes away, you know what's causing traction control to enable when there is no wheel spin.
