Default Mystery Valve springs

Does anyone recognize or know these valve springs or even how I would determine brand / specs? I bought my C6z06 from someone who had everything done a shop in Atlanta and knew nothing about it. I cannot get this shop to answer any of my questions. On there website it says they use manley/nextech springs and the color looks like it matches but the OD on these is 1.31" and I cannot find any in that size online.

I would appreciate any and all help thanks.

Identification with 100% accuracy is impossible. That said, many shops have valve spring testers that could give you specs like coil bind, open/closed pressures, etc. Maybe the retainers could be identified, but I know I can't with any accuracy. If there website lists Manley, perhaps you could remove or take a pic of a spring and retainer, and send it/them to Manley? Wish I could give you a better answer....

Manley makes four different 1.311 OD Nextek springs: 221439, 221438, 221428, 221431. They vary from 353 to 341 pounds per inch and have slightly different coil bind heights.

Valve springs are considered a wear item on these engines. If there's any doubt, change them.
Do you know the cam specs?
Do you or the original owner have any invoices for the work?

You are right I am just going to change them its not worth risking anything. I believe the cam is oem the original owner didn't have any receipts which is very annoying.

Depending on what spring combo is on it currently switching to different spring could require a different installed height so its not just as simple as buying a set of springs and slapping them on unfortunately. Best bet would be to remove one, Find a local engine builder/machine shop who can look measure the spring and check the specs of it and see if you can find a similar one

We use alot of PSI Springs at work, That looks somewhat similar to one of their springs to me. I found these 2 on their website... I know you said 1.310.. closest they have is 1.300. CT 1581, DR 427RML and DR 428RML are all 1.300 springs

Changing to a known quality brand is definitely the smart thing to do.
