Default Aftermarket Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Suggestions

So I've had a C6 ZO6 in the past and have now had my 09 ZR1 for almost 4 yrs. I didn't like the seats and steering wheel in the ZO6 and they are basically the same steering wheel and seats in my first yr ZR1. The steering wheel has always felt to thick and bulky. I'd like to get some feedback on a few quality companies that our members have successfully dealt with in replacementof stock wheel.. Any pics will be greatly appreciated..

Check out RFE design. Great quality for very good price. Caravaggio Corvette is another top notch supplier but youre at his mercy when it comes to getting it back.

Believe it or not, Ebay sells some nice carbon fiber/leather or carbon fiber/Alcantara steering wheels, plenty of Utube videos on how to change them also

Thanks for the pics that wheel looks nice to me. I'm hoping that these are a little thinner than OEM .I'm sure the grip is way better ergonomically and has a tackier feel as well.

RFE is really the best option, but prepare to wait awhile. He's very busy, but his work is well-worth it

Check out Revesol, they have good reviews and seem well made

I purchased their all leather wheel recently and it is very well made and install was easy. They make carbon fiber as well.

Very nice! So does it feel alot better in your hands especially in quick steering situations over stock. Is it thinner overall compared to OEM?

It feels great, I like the moldings in it for your thumbs, it might feel a little better in quick steering as you can have a better hold on it due to the moldings. I think it is actually a little thicker than stock, pretty much the same diameter, I like the visual of it and the flat bottom is neat though i don't really notice it while driving. I think it looks much better than stock. Revesol makes replacement steering wheels for a number of other popular cars, i watched a bunch of reviews on youtube on them before purchasing and didn't find anything negative.

If you don't like how thick the stock steering wheel is, you won't like the rfe wheel. It's much thicker than the oem one. But it does look better

All the replacement steering wheels are thicker than 2011 and earlier. I replaced my 2011 with OEM 2012, it is slightly thicker albeit much better look and materials that uplifts the interior. Plus it is little more grippier leather than earlier ones so it feels better.

RFE is expensive but certainly worth it. I have had a Revesol for a long time and for the money, it is a very good value. It does feel thicker in the hand, but I think it is because it has an asymmetrical grip shape that fits your hand better than the completely round grip shape of the OEM wheel.

Ditto this - wanted a new wheel but not for $1,100 - $1,400 and that's without carbon fiber with the other options - $259 w/ no core is crazy. and the wheel is beyond what i expected; very nice

Just put my wheel order in at RFE, I ordered matte carbon as I am not a fan of gloss carbon, I feel it looks dated. I went with RFE because eventually I’ll get the interior trim then it will all match. He is super busy so you may have to wait a little bit but from what I’ve read it will be worth it

You won't be disappointed. No offense to the others, but the cheap ebay wheel looks like a cheap ebay wheel.
