Default We are so fortunate

Hi all, I just got back from taking a quick trip to the store for some last minute items that I forgot earlier in the day. I took the Vette because we might be getting some rain in the next day or so and I wanted to get a drive in before the rain starts. As I was enjoying my drive and listening to the sound of that beautiful LS7 wind her way up to around 7k, I couldn't help but think how fortunate I am. I realized that I am one of the few individuals that is blessed with the opportunity to enjoy this 427 cubic inch, 505 horsepower, aluminum framed, titanium cradled, velocity yellow, Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Now I know that there are nicer and newer and maybe even faster cars being produced today, but when I get behind the wheel of my Z06, I own the road.

I agree, I feel very fortunate to have the privilege of owning this car as a toy, I grew up poor, so I have alot of pride driving it.

I'm very fortunate to have ~1,700 hp worth of vehicles in the garage, but my Callaway Carbon Edition Z06 is my favorite. I wanted an Inferno Orange Metallic Carbon Z06 as soon as I saw it revealed in 2010. 10 years later I was able to purchase one, and that it's a super rare Callaway was icing on the cake.

I go through cars with regularity, but this one will be passed down to my son when I can no longer get behind the wheel.

Nothing like a 7K RPM trip to the store.

One thing about an LS7 engined Corvette; if you forget something at the store, you can return, and MIGHTY FAST!!

My C6Z06 is my 20th Corvette starting with a 56 followed by a gaggle of C1 and C2 ending with two 1970 LT1s. Then a long absence from Corvettes and now the best of the bunch. A Ron Fellows #219 LS7. This will probably be my last but, it certainly is my best.
Feeling the blessings we all have mentioned.

Agreed, just had to do the fuel module and drivers tank so it was down. Had to go home at lunch since finally NO rain. Love this car!
