Default OEM Driver side fuel pump

Stealership has had my car since April replacing my fuel pumps. The passenger side was installed but they couldn't find the driver's side. They told me today that the engineers are working on a fix but wouldn't have an answer for another 5 months.

I think you'd be better off taking it to a performance shop and installing an aftermarket fuel system like Fore. It's not cheap, but at least you'll have your car back so you can enjoy it..

If you type that part number into gm parts direct, it says non ZR1, without supercharger. So that is probably a standard pump.

There was another post on ordering from Summit and other vendors that the ship date keep changing. No sure if this pump will ever be available.

I see them used at times from salvage yards advertising on EBay. They sell quickly unfortunately.

Parts availability is certainly becoming an issue with the C6 cars, our only hope is the aftermarket.

Roof bolts are $33/each. Used to be $3.65. The headliner clips are $9/each. Used to be $3~. Parts prices for these cars are skyrocketing too.

I recall reading something that the BMW X5M has the same pump, and you could canabalize it out of the assembly. The user never clarified which generation X5M however.
