C7 Z06 wheels on a C6 Z06
I'm a new guy here and need a bit of help.
I have an opportunity to buy factory C7 Z06 wheels and Michelin Sport Cups (approx 1 year old and 1 non-track use) for a good price. Will these fit properly on a C6 Z06? In checking TireRack for sizes and offsets the two years are close but not exactly the same.
The 2009 Z is new to me and I'm learning.

Yep, they fit with zero issues and drastically change the look of the car (in a good way.) However, these wheels are prone to the rears cracking. I bought a set for my c6z a couple years ago that were already cracked but I got a killer deal on them so I had them repaired. 2k miles later I took them off to clean up the barrels and ceramic coat them only to find both were cracked again in different places. Ended up getting rid of them.
My buddy also has a c7z and has replaced each rear wheel twice due to cracking. I would stay away from these wheels for sure.

What you need to stay away from are Pot Holes. Even Speedline OEM ZR1's have had issues. Look at the wheel nearly flat flange, 12" barrel, rubber band run flat, not that hard to damage.

Thanks again guys.
My conversations with the seller have been limited so far but did find out that the wheels were black, good for me as I don't really like chrome. I also plan these more for track than road. I'm in Michigan and our potholes are legendary; in the Detoilet area you can take donkey rides to the interior, overnight stays are optional.

I have them on mine and they look great! Only thing is if you are planning on upping the power you will be limited on tire selection, that just goes with wheel size so this isn't just with the c7z wheels. I am thinking of going back to 19s to increase tire options

I bought a set as track wheels from a C7 Z06 buddy (with sticky and expensive MPSC2 ZP).
Looked great, but much heavier than the OE Speedlines. It was the wrong direction for track wheels and besides actually feeling the difference, I felt the shocks (still OE at that point) couldn't keep the heavier wheel/tire combo buttoned down as well. They were pretty, but a performance hit. So nope.
Perhaps I should have kept them for street, but would have needed street tires and already had new street rubber on my OE 18/19 Speedlines...so went in a different direction for track. I sold them with the tires, for what I paid after the very first track day and went for a set of virtually new Forgelines in 18" Bought on Forum.
FYI...
Fronts:
C6Z OE Speedline 18x9.5: 275/35 Firestone Indy 500 54.2lbs
C7Z 19x10:285/30 MPSC2ZP 61.2lbs
Forgeline GA3R 18x11: 295/30x18 R888R 51.2lbs
w/Pirelli slicks used scrubs 305/645-18 49.6lbs
Rears:
C6Z OE Speedline 19x12: 325/30 Firestone Indy 500 60.4lbs
C7Z 20x12: 335/25 MPSC2ZP 64.5lbs
Forgeline GA3R 18x12.5: 335/30x18 R888R 55.4lbs
w/Pirelli slicks used scrubs 325/680- 1849.4lbs
good luck

they are very good looking. I agree with the above posters though, they are heavier and prone to cracking. I would avoid them

Thanks guys.
I've decided to pass on the C7 Z wheels. Currently running Forgestar F14s, these came with the car and I like them. I will be looking for a set of track wheels.

Anyone know how much these C7Z06 wheel weigh, relative to stockers? And do they fit a C6 Z06?
