Default New ZR1 Exhaust Tip Option

So I saw this guy post an exhaust he makes for the C7's. Absolutely fell in love with the tips on this. Here is the issue, tips are 3" to 4.5" openining. I know the factory mufflers on our cars are 2.5" to 3.5opening. The tips are also made out of Titanium. How could I utilize these tips on my factory NPP mufflers? He suggested cutting off my tips and welding the 3" to factory 2.5". Is that possible?

Those are sweet looking! Sounds like what he suggested is the way to go. If you don’t weld any exhaust shop should be able to handle this with ease. Post up some pics of you do it!

Those are sick!! You can weld SS to Ti, just need a 3" to 2 1/2" reducer & a shop that knows what they're doing. However, I don't think there's enough room to simply weld on 4 1/2" tips to the factory mufflers .There's probably a solution to that though, I'm not sure...

this is the look I'm going for. these are 5" tips by the way so I think the 4.5" should have no problem with clearance.

Would be interesting to know if those are coming off the stock mufflers, or aftermarket where the exits of the can itself are further apart giving room for the bigger tips.

On 2nd look, those are definitely not coming off the stock mufflers.

Bet they would work well with the Corsa sport 4.0 system. Obviously you would still have to cut the Corsa tips and replace

You will need to add an additional curve inbetween the tips and the mufflers on the oem systems to make the muffler outlets spaced wide enough apart to accept a 4.5" tip.
