I kept the cords from the battery tender/maintainers that died. I hard wired a cord to the jumper port under the hood and ran it out of the bottom of the rt fender.
When not in use, I cap it and tuck it between the inner and outer fender. Works great with the cover on.

I have a similar connection in my C5, but it comes out of the bottom of the front bumper.

There is a recess on both door sills for the wires if you are using the cigarette lighter adapter.

Forgive and overlook the gnat guts, but the magnetic plug is the easiest solution. I made my own with parts off eBay for about $150. Works like a charm. Pull in, clips right on by magnet, go in the house and pour a drink. Takes less than 5 seconds.
