So after getting the car checked out it was found that the catalytic converter had failed. I contacted buyavette where I bought the car and they agreed to pay for all repairs. I am happy they took care of this without any problems or arguments .Jack the GM was great to deal with .
Thanks to all Mike

Corvette Tuner in Tampa
Looks like you have an aftermarket snout and pulley on your ZR1.
You should have the tune checked to make sure the dealer didnt return the tune to stock to sell it.

The Corsa Sport could be ordered with the same size tips as the Xtreme, so no guarantee to tell that way (unless they are smaller diameter, then they are definitely the Sport). Honestly the best way to tell is the sound, if you have the Corsa Xtreme, you'll know it. Even with stock manifolds and cats, they are extremely loud when you get on it. If you have long tubes and no cats, they are insanely OMG loud.

On Long Island you have only a few choices. Vette Doctors in Amityville or JTM auto in Deer Park. Both are more than qualified to work on your ZR1

4.5 inch tips for the extremes.
I don’t believe you can get the 4.5 inch tips on the sports but o am not certain.
To be absolutely sure you can weight them. The sports are heavy. The extremes are very light. Sports weight about the same as the stock exhaust. Extremes weight about 33 pounds for both. So about 16 pounds each side.

I bought my 2010 ZR1 from buyavette and had the exact opposite experience. The rear wheels weren’t balanced at all (zero weights on them) and the muffler baffles were blown out which I discovered after removing the permanent mild2wild. When I told them of the issues they literally replied to my text with a thumbs up emoji and didn’t answer my phone calls. Luckily the repairs were <1k but it wasn’t the experience I expected buying a $70k car.

My cats failed a few years ago...it developed a rattle that sounded like a rod bearing or can of marbles...finally it blew most of the cat out the back..dealer replaced under 8 year exhaust warranty here in Cdn..(a fiasco in it's own)
