Default CorvetteMods zr1 Spoiler Review

I just purchased the spoiler mentioned in the topic and I have to say, I am super disappointed. Granted, it was the cheaper of the spoilers, at 169.99, but there were no instructions, no clips to hold the bolts from spinning, and the bolts are easily 3" too long unnecessarily. I emailed them directly and asked if they had forgotten the clips that attached to the bolts to keep them still while attaching the nuts, but all they said was that clips don't come with a kit. Thank God I hadn't drilled into the bumper yet before I noticed or else I would be endlessly wrenching on these bolts while they spun within the spoiler. The bolts used in the OG spoiler I had to transfer over to the new one since the new bolts they gave wouldn't fit properly, the threads were different than OEM.

So anyone buying that spoiler, just be ready for some frustration.

I'm ready to 3M the outer portions of the spoiler while the inner portion where the OEM spoiler was attached with 4 bolts rather than going on a manhunt to find the proper clips.

Giant pet peeve of mine is when the ENTIRE car is metric and ignorant aftermarket companies put imperial on their parts. Terrible.

There is an old adage that fits here. "You get what you pay for."

Good luck with that, it's one of the main reasons why they have crappy service, don't want to take anything back or do refunds.....even if it's their fault.

Once bought a Splitter from a vendor on here, crappiest glass work I have ever seen and I have seen a ton. Same thing and the expense, hassle and still having to pay shipping both ways was insane.
I have in the past told them when they get a sale for the part send me a shipping label and I will drop ship to the next victim.

With Corvette Mods, many would be happy if they actually did get what they paid for!! Fly by night, seat of their pants, terrible vendor. OP should research their reputation. Hint; its NOT good.......
